Submitting your application

Submit the signed original and two copies of your application by the appropriate deadline. Staple the original and the copies in order of the following checklist. Do not use binders, clips, plastic covers, etc.

The Review and Approval Process

USCAI has a number of decision options: full approval of applied for funding; partial approval with stipulated changes (such as the amount of award, additional outreach plans, etc.); disapproval. If a proposal is not approved for funding, but USCAI feels strongly that with revisions the proposed project increases its chances for funding, specific suggestions for revising the program will be given. However, adhering to the suggested recommendation for revising the design of the project does not imply that the project is assured funding at its second submission.

Once Your Project Is Awarded Funding

You will be notified through interdepartmental mail and standard mail immediately after all applications for that award period have been reviewed.

If your project is funded, the transfer of funds will take place within two weeks of the award notification.
