The Training and Professional Development Committee helps guide the development and maintenance of the Advisor Training & Certification program, ensuring that the content is accurate, relevant, and timely. This committee also plans and facilitates the monthly UAA staff meetings.

UAC Undergraduate Academic Advisor Consulting Group
The Consulting Group provides non-binding strategic advice and feedback to the University Advising Center Admin Team on the operations of undergraduate academic advising to potentially include advisor onboarding, development, mentoring, mandates, technology workflow, etc.
- Employed as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor for at least one full year.
- Level 2 certified
- Attend & participate in scheduled meetings
- Complete any assigned tasks and provide feedback in a timely manner
- Keep information shared among group members confidential
- Advocate for the continued strategic advancement of the UAC
- Understanding and appreciation for University of South Carolina culture
